5th Annual Southwest Florida Birding & Wildlife Festival
January 16-18, 2009
A diverse array of slide-show presentations will be offered throughout the weekend starting on Friday at 12:00. The schedule is below.
Space is available on first-come, first-served basis. Registration for presentations is not necessary except for Bob Montanaro’s keynote presentation on Friday evening.
Festival participants are invited to enjoy our welcome reception on Friday night immediately before the keynote presentation. If you plan to attend and have not registered for the festival, please do so by clicking here. If you have already registered for the festival but did not register for the presentation, please call 239-417-6310 ext. 413.

Activities
On-site activities throughout the weekend include:
- Kids of all ages can enjoy making edible eagles, dissect owl pellets and examine bird beaks and feet. (Sat & Sun)
- A Native Plant sale (Sat & Sun)
- Live raptors from the Audubon Center for Birds of Prey (Sat and Sun)
- Optics table (Sat and Sun)
- and much more....
Field Trips
A highlight of the festival is the opportunity to participate in
guided trips to 18 locations around the region, including Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, Sand Dollar Lagoon, and the Ten Thousand Islands. Space on field trips is limited and pre-registration is required to participate.
